March 25th & 27th, April 8th & 10th | 5:30-7:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to start a conversation with someone but could not figure out the right words? Do you occasionally say things you didn’t mean to and do not know how to go back and fix things? Do you often feel ten steps behind during a conversation?

A brain tumor diagnosis and its treatment may impact social skills, which are the skills we use for conversation, building relationships, and working with others. This workshop will give you a chance to work on your social skills, strengthen the ones that make you great to talk to, and work on some of your challenges.

Each session will focus on a different skill. There will be plenty of discussion and practice among other young adult brain tumor survivors. We promise to make this fun and the rumor is true, we will end the session with the best social skill-KARAOKE!

Stacia Wagner and Beth Jones facilitate the group. We will meet for dinner and discussion at the CBTF We Work office at 1460 Broadway (the entrance is on 41st) on Monday, March 25, Wednesday, March 27, Monday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 10, from 5:30-7:00. For brain tumor survivors 18+. Funding to assist with transportation is available.
