This year I am honored to run the 50th Anniversary of the NYC Marathon for the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF). As many of you know, my oldest daughter Morgan is a two time brain tumor survivor. Morgan has experienced, and our family has seen, firsthand how an organization such as the CBTF can change lives. We have witnessed how the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation has assisted families both financial and emotionally through the painful and exhausting process of diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We have seen how the CBTF provides funding for academic scholarships as well as to scientific research for a cure. Morgan has benefited from quality of life programs such as summer camps, support groups, and fun activities such as photography classes and annual fundraising walks. The CBTF looks to heal the entire child-- physically and emotionally--while providing guidance and support to the entire family, because being diagnosed with a brain tumor affects everyone. I ask that you consider making a small donation of any amount to this courageous cause that benefits so many courageous young children and their families. A small donation will not only go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Children's Brain Tumor Foundation but has the power to change a life for the better.
