Join me in supporting the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation and make a difference!
I am a first-time marathon runner. Running a marathon has been something I’ve always wanted to do, ever since I could remember. While doing some research, I came across the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation and thought, “this is it!” I could not only fulfill my long-time personal goal, but most importantly I could make a difference. I could help! This cause is one very close to my heart. When I read their mission, I thought to myself “I will do this for Chalito”. Salomon “Chalito” Manzur was the son of one my dearest friends. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2019 and passed away in December 2020. He was 10 years old. What a special boy he was, bright as a star! A true joy to be around! He lit up every room he walked into! I am honored to run this race in his name, for him, and for every child and family going through this unthinkable journey. Together with Chalito (I know he will be running next to me like a champ), I will run the marathon. With your support, we will make a difference by helping this amazing organization continue to support children and their families in so many ways. Please consider contributing.
