Many of you know that Maeve and her family have been a part of the CBTF family for many years. She is not only a survivor but she is a thriver! Maeve is 15 years old and about to start her freshman year at Ridgewood High School. She loves animals, crafts, music and anything French. Maeve is a Girl Scout, participates in Unified sports (Special Olympics) and is an active member of Ridgewood's Sharing the Arts Program. After everything she has been through, Maeve continues to be a ray of sunshine who spreads joy. She lights up every room she enters with her infectious smile and overflowing enthusiasm.

We are excited to announce that Maeve will be honored at the NJ Family & Friends Walk with the first CBTF Courage Award for her accomplishments and everything she brings to the CBTF community. Maeve is not only courageous, but she exudes positive energy, compassion, and determination. Her inspiration extends to each person she meets. We hope you will join us at the event and celebrate with us. Thank you for supporting Team Brave Maeve and CBTF to help make sure that no family goes through the brain tumor journey alone.

The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) is the nation’s leader in quality of life programs for children and families affected by brain and spinal tumors. We are asking some of our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support CBTF's important work. By supporting a Family & Friends Walk Team, you will have a direct impact on children diagnosed with brain and spinal tumors and their families.

All of the funds raised will support CBTF programming that has helped thousands of survivors and families. Your efforts can help us reach thousands more. CBTF is committed to improving the treatment, quality of life, and long-term outlook for children and families affected by a brain or spinal cord tumor. We want to make sure that no family goes through this journey alone.

Walk, stroll, roll, run...together we are stronger!
