In February of 2022, I lost my dear Uncle Bob to brain cancer. He was a huge supported of my running, and even woke up from a surgery and started talking to the doctor about my torn ACL. I am still in disbelief about this loss and the ways in which it has impacted my family.
I run in memory of my uncle and to bring awareness to greater gender inclusivity in the world, a mission that Uncle Bob always supported me through.
Thank you for your support of Children's Brain Tumor Foundation and my running in the non-binary category of the New York City Marathon in November of 2023.
