If you know me, you know I’ve dedicated my professional career to healthcare. Post Kellogg, I have signed on to work for Amgen, where I aspire to effect change within their oncology and rare disease divisions. However, my long term dream has always been to start my own nonprofit that delivers healthcare access to underserved children within our country.
When I decided to run the Chicago Marathon this October, there was no question on what nonprofit I want to stand with. Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation’s mission is dedicated to improving the treatment, quality of life and the long-term outlook for children and families affected by a brain or spinal cord tumor.
No family deserves to have their world uprooted by a rare disease, no family deserves to go through the fight alone, and no child should ever lack access to healthcare, irrespective of socioeconomic disparities.
Any donation amount will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Children's Brain Tumor Foundation, Inc.
