I was diagnosed with a non-cancerous but dangerous brain tumor in April of 1995 at the age of 12. Thankfully it was removed with few complications. I recovered in record time with minor lifelong effects of the tumor. 2024 is my 29th year tumor free!
The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation was there for my family during this very difficult time. I will be participating in their September walk to fundraise to ensure they are available to help families just like mine going through this very difficult and scary time.
