In honor of my participation in this year's Chicago Marathon, I kindly ask you to consider making a generous donation to support the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) and its essential work. For over a decade, CBTF has been a national leader in providing programs for families affected by brain tumors.
In its 35 years, CBTF has transformed from a local New York organization that offered families access to information and peer support into a national entity that delivers unique programs to support families throughout their brain tumor journey. CBTF believes that collaboration is crucial in the pursuit of a cure and in addressing the often devastating long-term effects of brain tumor treatment.
As someone who was diagnosed with two brain tumors at the age of 2 and again at 6, I know firsthand how vital the work of organizations like CBTF is. The advances in research and treatment have given me the opportunity to lead a healthy and active life, such as participating in events like the Chicago Marathon. Without this critical research, my journey—and so many others—would be drastically different. Your support helps ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from these life-saving advancements.
